Information for Rising Juniors
As a rising Junior, you will have a greater array of housing options than in previous years, whether you are a member of a living group, pursue one of the various room selection application processes, or participate in Lottery.
Some of you may live in a Greek Chapter House, or apply to live in a thematic living group in a Living Learning Community, Grossman House, or Special Interest House. Please see the Timeline for more information about these processes.
If you wish to live with or close to a group of your friends in the traditional residence halls, you can apply for Gender Inclusive, 6+suite, or block housing. These options enable friends to know that they will live together without needing to participate in the Lottery event.
If you plan to participate in the general lottery, it is possible that apartment or suite style rooms will be open to pick. Additionally, the chance of choosing a single room improves. Consult the room dimensions and floor plans page to better research specific spaces within the residence halls. Review the Timeline for all important dates.
If you who plan on studying abroad in the Fall of your Junior year, you will not participate in Room Selection or Lottery. Instead, you will be contacted at the conclusion of the Fall semester to indicate your housing preferences for the Spring semester.
The Office of Residence Life manages a variety of living environments in which learning is supported and extended beyond the classroom.
