Information for Rising Seniors
Rising seniors have the most options in regards to their potential housing assignments. During your senior year, you may be released to live in private off-campus housing or be eligible to live in college owned off campus housing. The process for release and eligibility has its own timeline. It is important that you follow the procedure and stay up to date on all information that is sent out starting at the end of the Fall semester of your junior year.
If you do not wish to live off-campus or in a Living Group (e.g. Greek chapter houses, Living Learning Community, Grossman House, or Special Interest Houses), you will be able to pick from a variety of options, including apartment style living, traditional living spaces, or single rooms on traditional style floors. Consult the room dimensions and floor plans page to better research specific spaces within the residence halls. Review the Timeline for all important dates.
If you are abroad during the room selection and housing lottery process, someone in your mutually matched roommate group will make the pick for you.
The Office of Residence Life manages a variety of living environments in which learning is supported and extended beyond the classroom.
